Water On Floor Of Car Drivers Side

Just my drivers side was wet so i just pulled up that area.

Put some paper towel between the floor and the carpet to absorb the moisture. 3 inches of water. The driver side carpet felt damp checked under it and the floor was soaked too. Water in driver s side floorboard so i have read over time where many have posted about water being in the driver s side floor area.

It happens every time it rains and my floor inside my car gets soaking wet. Another good indication is if the liquid is only collecting on the passenger side where most heater cores are located. Upon further look found water under the driver s seat saturated and then found that the wetness was just forward of the driver s seat. The water pump will not have any effect on water on the floor so i would not suspect a problem with it.

I could see water under the gas tank release lever. No water on floor of passenger side of the car. When you make a hard or fast turn the water will splash out of the evaporator case and onto your feet sometimes as you drive or somewhere inside the vehicle. If under the drivers seat and the back seat is wet i see can see you taking out the front seat.

Sunroof drain plugs clogged. A heater core leak usually leaks on the passenger side and a a c drain plain water leak usually happens on the driver side floor or in the middle center section of the floor. There have been a number of possible causes like plugged sunroof drains plugged drain holes etc. Here s what the problem is.

Stick your finger up in there and clear out all the tree debris so the water can drain freely. I found a puddle of water on the floor and my car is soaked. It looks more like a movable flap that has a horizontal drain hole. Felt under the steering wheel but didn t notice any leak or liquid or the check engine light.

The heater core is like a little radiator which water passes through under the dashboard to heat the cabin.
